Cardara
Cardara is an online printing service. Cardara allows you to choose and design your item online. The process is simple: you choose your desired product, the format and model, then customize the item with your own text, photos, images, and logo. Once you have finished designing your item, you place your order online. Cardara then prints, cuts, and packages your order and sends it directly to you by the delivery service you choose.

Advantages of using Cardara


Low costs & quick delivery .. we've cut out most of the intermediate costs connected to the correction of proofs and the pre-press stages. With Cardara you do not need to send in your final proofs. Simply customize your texts and images on the Cardara website, and make changes and corrections instantaneously. Your item is printed within 24 hours of the time you places your order. Cardara offers quick DHL delivery (48 hours) or regular mail (5-6 days).

Your Cardara account .. you can save your work to your free Cardara account. This feature allows you to save compositions to order later, save photos, images and logos to be used in your compositions and reorder items without having to recreate them. You can also view your invoices and store your address for future deliveries.

Large catalogue of products .. the Cardara catalogue is not limited to business cards. You can order letterhead, invitations, greeting cards, correspondence cards, birth announcements, wedding announcements, promotional flyers etc. User-friendly

Can I use my own design, artwork, composition?
YES. If you prefer to not use the designs supplied by Cardara, you can use your own!
Visit our Blank Models page and select the format that you would like to add your composition to.
When you customize your item you will see "logo/image" above the text fields. Click on the link "Upload now". You will have to log in to your Cardara account, if you have not done so already.
Now click on the link "My image library". Upload your composition to your image library to add it to your Blank Model item.
Your image files must be in PDF, JPG (Jpeg), or PNG format. We recommend you use PDF format. Your compositions should be in CMJN mode (4 colours) and no less that 300 dpi quality.
Click on "Modify image" to resize your image and shift it horizontally and vertically.

Can I add a logo, image or photo?
YES. Certain products allow to you upload your own logo, image or photo.
When you customize your item you will see either "logo" or "logo/image" above the text fields. Click on the link "Upload now". You will have to log in to your Cardara account, if you have not done so already.
Now click on the link "My image library". You will be able to choose from photos, logos, and images already uploaded to your account. Or, you can choose to upload new files.
Your image files must be in PDF, JPG (Jpeg), or PNG format.
What format can I use to upload my logo, photo or image files?
Your image files must be in PDF, JPG (Jpeg) or PNG format.
We recommend you use PDF format.
Your compositions should be in CMYK mode.
You may choose the quality of your image, but we suggest 300 dpi minimum.

How do I modify my uploaded image?
After you have uploaded an image to your item, click on "Modify image". -If your image is too large: Change the scale to a lower percentage. For example, to reduce the size of your image by half, change the scale to 50% instead of 100%.
Be careful to not enlarge your image too much, as the quality of your image could be altered. - If your image is too small: Change the scale to a higher percentage. For example, to double the size of your image, change the scale to 200% instead of 100%. - If you want to reposition your image:
To move your image to the left or right, use the horizontal shift tool. Enter a number of millimetres that you would like to move the image and then select the direction (to the left/to the right). To centre your image, simply choose the centre button without entering a value of millimetres.
To move your image up or down, use the vertical shift tool. Enter a number of millimetres that you would like to move the image and then select the direction (up/down). To centre your image, simply choose the centre button without entering a value of millimetres.
You may have to shift your image several times to achieve the desired position on your layout. My uploaded image does not appear on my item.
Make sure that your uploaded image is still in your image library. If you delete the image from your library, it will not show up on any of your work. I am having trouble navigating the Cardara site.
Please ensure that your firewall allows you to connect to the Cardara site. You may have to contact your network administrator. Please ensure that your internet navigator (ex: Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, Internet Explorer allows cookies. To change your settings, go to your "Internet Options" and under the "Advanced" tab, click on "Always accept cookies".

Will my order correspond exactly to my composition?

YES. On the Cardara website, what you design is exactly what we print.
Each product produced on Cardara.co.uk automatically generates a preview and a print file corresponding to the exact information that you enter online. When you customize your items, you will see the warning "Attention: We will not make any changes to your document. Please check your spelling and verify that the layout is exactly as you would like it to be printed." You can zoom in on the product to check for any spelling or text errors. At no time will Cardara intervene or change your composition, so please be sure that your order corresponds exactly to what you would like us to print.

What paper are my items printed on?
Depending on the product you order, you can choose from a number of different papers.
Our standard paper is a white 300gsm Grade "A" paper. We also offer glossy, textured paper, and laminated.
We guarantee that all of our products are printed on a high-quality paper.

Will the print colours be the same as on my computer screen?

The colours displayed can vary slightly depending on your computer screen. So in some cases, you may notice a slight difference between the colours on your printed product and those displayed on your screen. However, we guarantee that the colours of your printed product correspond exactly to those programmed in our catalogue by our graphic designers.

When will my order be delivered?
Cardara prints within 24 hours of receiving your order payment.
Delivery time depends on the type of delivery you have selected.
DHL delivers in 48 hours.
Regular mail delivers in 5-6 working days.

What are the shipping costs?
The shipping costs depend on the type of product and quantity you order. The shipping costs also vary according to the type of delivery you choose. You will be able to see the shipping costs before you submit your final order.

I have not received my order
To check the status of your order, please consult the confirmation email that Cardara sends you after you place your order. Follow the link to view your order confirmation. At the top of the page you will see your order status. If your order has been shipped by regular mail, please wait. Delivery time is usually 5-6 days. If you still do not receive your order, contact the Cardara customer service.

Will I receive an invoice?
YES. We send an invoice with your order. We strongly recommend that you keep a record of your order number and your transaction number.

Is secured payment really guaranteed?
YES. When you pay for your order by bank card, the transaction is made directly between your bank and our bank. At no time will Cardara be aware of your bank details.

When you submit your order, the symbols at the bottom of your browser will indicate to you that you are in encryption mode and that nobody can access your personal information at this time. So you can pay on line in complete security with a Visa or MasterCard.

I am having trouble with online payment.
Cardara is only able to accept payment with a Visa or MasterCard. If you are indeed using one of these cards and still having trouble, please contact your bank to ensure that you have not exceeded your spending limit or that there is not a problem with your card.
